A Follow-up on Making Learning Content Affordable

Earlier this week, I wrote a post that described a framework for increasing faculty adoption of affordable learning content. Laura pointed out, quite correctly, that the diagram in the post (and therefore the idea), seemed incomplete because it did not identify feedback loops as part of the proposed process.

With that in mind, I have updated the diagram to show the presence of feedback into the framework form both instructors and students. In addition, I have included a box for "faculty" as part of the initial curation process. With these two additions, the framework would now support:

  • Content curation and contributions from both faculty and students
  • Content evaluation feedback from both faculty and students
